I first met Pax Mahle at a trade tasting and I was immediately attracted to his wines. Foolishly, I asked "Why Pax?" with good cheer he replied, "That's me, I'm Pax" and shook my hand. Later, I learned a good buddy of mine was his harvest intern, and he has some stories! Pax is most certainly good peoples. This Syrah is over a decade old and continues to deliver with purity of fruit, balance and structure. Get this unicorn while you still can.
