Yes. You’ll need to book your airfare to/from Vienna from your original destination and are responsible for your own airport transfer to/from hotel. Transactions are charged in GBP.
4 nights’ accommodation (double room) with breakfast in a centrally located 5-star hotel. 3 wine dinners, 1 farewell lunch, 2 Brettljause, 3 winery visits & tastings, 1 walking tour of Vienna, admission to the Melk Abbey and access to its Wine Cellar, 1 boat tour & wine tasting experience on the Danube River, admission to the Imperial Apartments and Sisi-Museum, tickets to Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte at the Vienna State Opera, private coach to all tour activities, and all tipping. Services of an experienced tour guide, tour manager, and seasoned wine educator.
Prices are exclusive of VAT. Guests are responsible for booking airfare and airport transfer to/from Vienna.
The tour price of £3,125 per person is based on double occupancy—meaning two people sharing a room. If you are traveling solo and would like your own room, a £558 single supplement will apply.

Your final payment instalment of £2,875 (for double occupancy) is due by 15 April, 2026. Additional details will be provided after receipt of deposit.
It is highly recommended that you are in possession of valid comprehensive travel insurance that is appropriate for the nature and country of destination of the tour and covers, at a minimum, full medical, hospital, evacuation and repatriation costs.
Visa requirements vary depending on your nationality. We recommend checking with your local Austrian consulate or embassy to confirm the entry requirements that apply to you. It is each guest’s responsibility to ensure they have the necessary travel documents for the duration of the tour.
To participate on this tour, you should be able to:
- Keep up with the group at all times
- Walk for 4-7 kilometres over the day at a moderate pace
- Negotiate walking over uneven ground on dirt tracks
- Walk up and down steps and slopes
- Get on and off a coach with steps unassisted
- Move your luggage unassisted
Yes, free time is factored for the afternoon of Sunday, June 28th. This free time occurs after the farewell lunch and before the evening at the opera.
CANCELLATION BY YOU
If you decide to cancel your tour booking the following charges apply, based on the day we receive written notification to dan@goodwinegoodpeople.com:
£250 deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE if cancellation occurs after 14 March, 2026 (Assuming Minimum Ticket Sales Requirement is met. See below.)
Cancellations between 16 April, 2026 to 24 May, 2026: 50% of total amount due for tour
Cancellations between 25 May, 2026 to 25 June, 2026: 100% of total amount due for tour
MINIMUM TICKET SALES REQUIREMENT
This tour is subject to a minimum ticket sales requirement of 12 confirmed bookings by 14 March, 2026. If this minimum is not met by the deadline, we reserve the right to cancel the tour. In the event of cancellation due to insufficient bookings, all customers will receive a full refund, including any booking fees.
We will notify all participants promptly if the tour is cancelled and process refunds within 5–7 business days of the cancellation notice.

CHANGES BY SUPPLIER
While we will use our best endeavours to operate the tour as advertised, by entering into this contract you acknowledge and accept that it may prove necessary or advisable to vary or modify a tour or its contents due to prevailing local conditions. We reserve the right at any time to cancel or change any of the facilities, services or prices described in the brochure (including flights, transport, accommodation or other arrangements) and to substitute alternative arrangements of comparable monetary value without compensation. If a service or facility becomes unavailable due to circumstances beyond our control (‘force majeure’) and no alternative arrangement of comparable monetary value is available, we will attempt to substitute the best alternative available and/or will refund you for any cost saving.
FORCE MAJEURE
‘Force majeure’ includes any event which Claudia Weymayer-Czaak TRAVELbear or its suppliers could not, even with all due care, foresee or avoid (e.g. war, threat of war, riot, civil strife, industrial dispute, epidemics, pandemic, health risks, terrorist activity, natural or nuclear disaster, fire or adverse weather conditions, technical or maintenance problems with transport, changes imposed by cancellation or rescheduling of flights by an airline or main charterer, the alteration of airline or aircraft type).
UNUSED PORTIONS OF THE TOUR
We regret that refunds will not be given for any unused portions of the tour, such as meals, entry fees, accommodation, flights or transfers.
TRAVEL INSURANCE
It is highly recommended that you are in possession of valid comprehensive travel insurance that is appropriate for the nature and country of destination of the tour and covers, at a minimum, full medical, hospital, evacuation and repatriation costs.
COURT OF JURISDICTION
Claims against the supplier should be made to the company headquarters in Vienna/Austria.
Claudia Weymayer-Czaak TRAVELbear is registered in the index of Austrian tour operators of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Employment under 2011/0019. The hedge is provided by bank guarantee. The liquidator according to §3/Zif.2 RSV is the Europäische Reiseversicherung AG, Kratochwjlestraße 4, 1220 Vienna.
In case of insolvency all claims must be reported to the liquidator within 8 weeks of the insolvency.
