Grown and produced in Chile’s Colchagua Valley, this seductive red blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Carmenère is part of Montes’ Limited Selection range of high-quality, limited production wines. Originally intended to be a single variety wine, winemaker Aurelio Montes opted for a blend to create a beautiful harmony and further unleash the potential of both grapes.
This highly perfumed red blend unveils intense aromas of ripe red and black fruits intertwined with hints of eucalyptus, spice, vanilla, coffee, tobacco, and chocolate. Generous and voluptuous on the palate, the wine is moreish, with silky, smooth tannins and a well-balanced structure (despite the high alcohol), making each consecutive sip increasingly satisfying. - Jennifer Bui
