Bubbles Three Ways

Bubbles Three Ways

Ready for a sparkling adventure? In this bundle, we’re celebrating the diverse styles of sparkling wines and the techniques used to craft them. This trio highlights three methods of production— the traditional method (e.g., Champagne), the tank method (e.g., Prosecco), and the ancestral method (e.g., Pet Nat). Each method results in its own unique style and profile, offering a delightful spectrum of bubbles to explore. Whether you're looking for something classic and elegant, fruity and fresh, or fun and adventurous, this bundle has sparkling wines for whatever mood you’re in!

3x75cl Bottles

Bruno Sorg, Crémant d'Alsace - NV
Alsace, France

Made using the traditional method, just like Champagne, this Cremant goes through a secondary fermentation right in the bottle, then hangs out on its lees before being disgorged. That’s how it gets those fine, persistent bubbles and those delicious layers of flavour. Expect crisp apple, citrus, a touch of honey, and a hint of toasted brioche from the lees ageing. Plus, that lees ageing also gives it a creamy, mouth-filling texture with a refined finish. All in all, a really lovely classic sparkling wine without the hefty Champagne price tag!

Aphros, Phaunus Pet Nat White - 2021
Vinho Verde, Portugal

This Pet Nat (short for Pétillant Naturel) is made using the ancestral method, one of the oldest ways to produce sparkling wine. Unlike other methods, the wine is bottled before fermentation is complete, letting the magic happen naturally in the bottle and resulting in gentler bubbles. No added sugars, no disgorgement—just pure, unfiltered fizz. Made from Loureiro grape, this Phanus Pet Nat offers notes of golden orchard fruits, green herbs, lemon zest, and fresh brioche (thanks to the yeast that’s still present). Super fun, friendly and zippy!

Conte Collalto, Conegliano e Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG, Brut San Salvadore - 2021
Veneto, Italy

This Prosecco is made using the tank method (aka the Charmat method), where secondary fermentation happens in large sealed stainless steel tanks. The C02 released during this process causes pressure in the tank, forming those signature bubbles. This technique is all about preserving the fresh, fruity flavours of the grapes.

While there’s a lot of prosecco out there, this one stands out. Earning the highest quality status for the region (DOCG), Conte Collalto’s Prosecco has vibrant notes of golden apples, pears and a delicate floral hint. There’s a reason, it’s the only Prosecco we stock!
