We’re huge fans of Kelby and Julia—two Finger Lakes wine veterans who’ve more than earned their stripes (Kelby at Red Newt, and Julia at Hosmer Vineyards). So when they launched Apollo’s Praise, their own label, we knew something special was brewing.
Their debut Dry Riesling, sourced from the well-loved Lahoma Vineyard on Seneca Lake’s western edge, is vibrant and full of lyrical depth. The nose opens with citrus, smoky grapefruit, and orange blossom, while the texturally rich yet mineral-driven palate brings together ripe stone fruit, lemongrass, and a touch of blood orange.
