’Emakhaya' translates to 'At home' in Zulu, and is a fitting name for such an honest expression of Merlot. Mumphi's ode to Beaujolais, this undergoes carbonic maceration, yielding a light fragrant and fruit driven wine. Zippy red fruits and a touch of green spice on the finish. Unfiltered and unfined. Mphumi Ndlangisa went from selling sweets at school, to working as an investment banker, to being one of the few Zulu winemakers in South Africa.
