There's not a lot of Chenin Blanc planted in California, but for the lucky few winemakers that can get their hands on some, there's infinite potential. Enter Justin Willet and Eric Railsback of Lieu Dit wines. With some time in French oak barrels and a touch of malolactic fermentation, this wine is a layered, textural goddess. We could spend all day picking apart the flavour notes in this wine, and we encourage you to do so too! Pear, quince, chamomile, herbs, beeswax, vanilla, citrus, and more. There's a salinity to the acid on the finish that keeps bringing you back for more. A new California classic.
