This bottle was enjoyed more than once in the movie ‘Sideways’ at the restaurant of the same name - delicious and dangerous! At the heart of the Hitching Post is a focus on Pinot Noir from vineyards in Santa Barbara County, specifically Santa Maria Valley, Santa Ynez Valley, Santa Rita Hills and Los Alamos. Seductive and brooding, yet boasting an acidic backbone which will extend this life of this bottle for years to come. DB had the pleasure of going full sideways - walking down the highway from his shitty motel, having a fantastic meal at the bar, and many glasses of pinot!
