Atypical for a Cab/Merlot blend for sure. Is it a rosé or just a really light red? Who cares?! It's delicious. Fresh and fruity, with a savoury underpinning, reminding you that it's Cab Sauv in the driver's seat. From the cool climate of north-east Italy, Eugenio Rosi is a small family operation, only producing about 18,000 bottles annually! After many years leading cooperatives, he began making wines under his own label. Eugenio is one of the masters of the indigenous red grape variety Marzemino (found in this blend too). Immortalised by Mozart’s Don Giovanni, “Versa il vino! Eccellente Marzemino!”
