Everything you want from a proper claret at a great price! The second wine of Chateau Trianon. The estate is located southwest of Saint-Emilion, where it can be traced back to the 17th century. The story goes that a steward of Louis XIV had the castle built and named it “Trianon” in homage to Versailles. Dark fruits, spiced plums, savoury herbs and pepper from the Cabernet, touch of cocoa on the finish. 80% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon.
