Woodsy juniper, rosemary, and red cranberry on the nose - riper fruit on the palate, tart black cherry. 30% of the grapes here are kept in concrete vats to preserve freshness, the rest in neutral oak for texture. This is red sauce joint Chianti turned up to eleven! The vineyards are situated in the hilly, southernmost region of Panzano, an area long acknowledged as one of the Grand Crus of Chianti Classico.
