Absolutely wild minerality right up front here, with hot blacktop, white pepper, pomegranate, cranberry, and tart cherry fruits on the nose. The palate is developed and textural, with slightly riper fruit components than the nose would suggest. Fine, pronounced tannins and elegant acidity, this is a great introduction to the wines of the famous Gran Canaria Islands - delicate and intense stuff. - Nathan Lithgow
