Brothers Carlo and Dante Mondavi (yes, that Mondavi) grew up drinking great pinot noir with their father Tim, and so when they set out on their own, they knew is was Pinot or bust. They headed west, looking beyond Napa Valley to the rugged West Sonoma Coast. It’s here where they founded RAEN (Research in Agriculture and Enology Naturally) in 2013, producing profound Pinot in homage to their family. Regenerative farming sits at the forefront of all viticultural decisions.

We’re thrilled to offer very limited stocks of the Royal St. Robert cuvee, named after their Grandfather. It is a super honest expression of cool climate Sonoma Coast. Gorgeous jewel-tones in the glass. Wild strawberry on the nose, rose petals, violets, coastal forest floor and wet rock. Candied raspberry, bing cherry and fine dusty tannins. Perfect acid in balance. 100% whole cluster inclusion yields a thread of spicy complexity.
