We had the pleasure of visiting Francois Sorg and his family at their home/winery in the heart of historic Eguisheim. Francois has a deft hand with balancing sweetness and acidity, and this bottle of top Pinot Gris is a prime example. There are 51 Grand Cru Vineyards in Alsace, and Pfersigberg is the jewel in the crown of Eguisheim. Really lovely full, round mouthfeel, balanced with acidity.
