When most people think of Washington State, they picture a rainy Seattle, but WA's wine growing regions are in the eastern part of the state. Vines are grown on sandy desert terrain. characterised by low rainfall, sandy loam soils, tumbleweeds and sagebrush. This is delightful American cabernet at its best. 78% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Syrah and the rest Petit Verdot, Merlot and Malbec.
