Of the two single-vineyard Foradori wines from the Campo Rotaliano, or the Rotaliano Plain, we've always been team Morei. Azienda Agricola Foradori was founded in 1939 by Elisabetta’s grandfather, and she has now handed over the winemaking to children Emilio, Theo and Myrtha Zierock. (We love Theo's vibes - he's got a fire in him.) Teroldego is an ancient variety dating back to the 15th Century, and nobody does it better than the Foradori family. The wine is marked by fine dusty tannins, dark fruits, and a touch of Dolomitic minerality. Outstanding for the price.
