Grown in the family since 1980, Pinot Gris is one of the most important white wines at Preisinger, with which they have already received a number of awards. It is matured in large oak barrels. The grapes are reddish-grey, the must is pink. The yeast robs it of its colour, and it then remains golden yellow with a subtle copper tint. Its subtle aroma and its creaminess make it a perfect accompaniment to food. This wine can pair high-brow or low-brow, think: grilled chicken caesar, cream of mushroom soup, pizza/quiche with cheese, or roasted or grilled seafood.
