The grapes in this wine are ancient varieties, indigenous to the mountains of Lebanon. Chateau Musar's red wine is widely celebrated, but we think the white deserves its time in the spotlight too. Balanced oak, slightly nutty and oxidative due to age - this wine is at its peak now. Get some air into your glass with a good hearty swirl, or a bit of time (20 min or so) in a decanter. Their UK importer recommends pairing with pâte, rillettes, seafood dishes and spicy vegetable tempura!
