Tin Shed Wines was founded in 1998 by winemaker and distinguished Barossa Valley chef Peter Clarke, who started the concept in his backyard shed based on his love for food, flavours, and texture. Today, Claire Doughty and her family, the new custodians of Tin Shed Wines, work side-by-side with Peter to produce well-balanced, small-batch wines.
Peter and Claire focus on sourcing high quality, low-yielding grapes from organic-practicing single vineyard plots around the Barossa and Eden Valley. They craft their wines with minimal handling from the vineyard to the winemaking, using indigenous fermentations and bestowing careful attention to detail.
Embracing wine as one of life’s simple pleasures, they produce fresh, vibrant wines that are meant to be enjoyed with good food and great friends.
