Founded in 2018 by Norbert and Birgit Szigeti, A-NOBIS has quickly made its mark in the Austrian sparkling wine scene. With over three decades of experience in producing high-quality sparkling wines and a deep connection to Champagne, Norbert brings unparalleled expertise to the winery. His wife, Birgit, shares his passion and commitment to producing exceptional wines that respect both nature and people.

The name “A-NOBIS” reflects their personal touch, blending elements of their names—“Nobis” meaning “from us” in Latin— and the “A” paying tribute to their Austrian origins. Based in Zurndorf, Burgenland, A-NOBIS is driven by a philosophy of harmony with nature, approaching it with the greatest care and respect.

Using traditional bottle fermentation and extended lees aging, Norbert and Birgit achieve wines with finesse and complexity that stand proudly alongside some of the world’s finest sparkling wines.
