With 150 years of family history, Bodegas Urbina is led by the 4th generation. Our tour was led by the family matriarch - she spoke only Spanish, and mi espanol is muy pobre - but we made it work and got along swimmingly! Minimal intervention in the winery with all estate grown fruit. These wines are classically built, spanding the test of time - this bottle drinking wonderfully at 20 years old. Oak, coconut, spices, dried fruit, tobacco - it goes on and on with this wine. I'd pair with a nice grilled lamb.
